Tips for getting better search results
You can make your searches even more effective and drill down to the results that most closely match what you are looking for by defining your search using the simple format explained below.
If you are searching for a NAME or specific DESCRIPTION that is more than a single word then put "" around those words.
For example: "car insurance"
If you want to ensure a particular word you are searching MUST be present in the search result then put a plus sign (+) in front of that word (or phrase). Do not leave a space between the (+) and the word.
For example: +quote
If you want to EXCLUDE a term which you think may be commonly associated with what you are looking for put minus sign (-) in front of the word (or phrase). Do not leave a space between the (-) and the word or phrase.
For example: -cheap -calculator
These options can be used on their own or in any combination. In order to produce a list of sites concerned with the works of Henry Ford as a benefactor and excluding those focussed on his cars, your search criteria would look like this:
For example: "car insurance" +quote -cheap -calculator
